Happy Valentines Day Everyone.
May you be loved ALOT by someone special.
well.... after talking alot about doing it but never actually doing it, i have decided to go ahead and write up my da letter.
dear mr. grier:.
my name is eremic granell, you know me as eric rowe.
Very good letter pr_capone. I was proof reading (I did it for a living) and there are some things your spell check didn't get. I have a list if you want to e-mail me. Please don't think I'm picking it apart. The Elders probably would'nt notice.
we have been so sick over the past few months since we began our indepth research and stopped going to meetings.
i'm sure jw family and friends would say jehovah is punishing us.
I don't know about where you're at but dozens and dozens of schools here have totally shut down because of illness. They were below 50% absent for days and decided to close the schools, let the kids heal and they totally disinfected the schools. It's a bad year for bugs this year, and if you have kids in school you will catch everything, they catch. Disinfect all your surfaces very regularly. Your phone, keyboard, mouse, toothbrushes (keep them away from each others) toilet knob, door knobs, refrigerator handle, sink fausets, etc...etc....etc....either use a mild bleach solution, Lysol, or I just use rubbing alcohol (it's cheap) Get outside and get fresh air. On a warmer day open all the doors and let the house get some fresh air for a few minutes. Have the kids (and you) wash their hands alot (wash your hands after grocery shopping). At work I just have a pump bottle of winter green rubbing alcohol, when ever I blow my nose or just when ever, I just get a squirt and rub my hands. Really cuts down on the germs. Stress does have a way of wearing you down, but one good flu is enough to lower your immune system enough to let you catch stuff all winter long.
.
it seems the more time goes by, the more i miss being a jw.. i miss my friends.
i miss the feeling of safety of the group.. i miss having hope.. i miss it a lot..

If you feel that is where you will be happy........Go back. You have been on this board long enough to have read it all, and with almost 3000 posts you have had your say. So if you feel the need to be a JW go with our blessings..........You are not doing it blind. They have something you need from the depths of your soul. It is your "Truth" go get it and give it your 100%.
There are lifelong convicts that get out of prison and after a short time "OUT" must commit a crime so they can go back, because they are lost out in the real world. They are out of place. Away from their "normal and familiar" prison is their "HOME". It very well may be yours. (One mans trash is another mans treasure)
There are couples that seperate from a miserable marriage. Not able to adjust to life alone they go back because it is safe and familiar. They have a nagging question. Maybe they just didn't do enough, or try hard enough. You seem to have a nagging question.............Go get it answered.
Find your Peace, where ever it may be. Be Happy were ever you find it.
now call me stupid (but not to my face), but i did not realize that if one types in, say, "patio34" on a search engine, my threads come up.
i bring this up because i did start a thread about a person and that person could, if they suspected it, find it on the huge web!!
they could realize this because my e-mail name is the same as my name here.
Me thinks you better turn around.
germany, france and now russia have developed a new peace plan for iraq.
they want to send un troops to disarm hussein.
this would avoid the war.
I think Bush has a Bone to pick and he's not going to be happy until he does. War should be the last resort.
since the columbia burned up, i have heard many references in the news to those astronauts being heroes.
what i wonder though, what makes a person a hero?
is every astronauts a hero, or do they need to die to be a hero?
That's an interesting question, Whyhideit.
I don't seem to be able to put the word, "HERO" next to their names. If it is there, in general, then anyone who does a job they love and want to do........and dies from that job is a hero? Now the thought of the firefighters that rushed into the World Trade Center on 9/11 comes to mind. They died doing their job, they would all tell you they love their job. Are they heros if they don't die? or only if they do? They were all called heros. A nurses aid slips and falls on a puddle of pee rushing to change a wet patient. She dies. Is she a hero? Maybe to the patient, but not the rest of the world. A few years ago I was to have surgery. My doctor, because of her love and kindness was my hero, my angel. Was she a hero? Only to me.
The man who came up with Penicillin (if only by accident) is a HERO. The man who came up with the Polio vaccine is a HERO. The inventor of the Small Pox vaccine.......a HERO. Are they thought of as such by the general public? No! But they have saved millions of lives.
The word "HERO" has many meanings. In this case for the Astronauts the word "HERO" means "Pretty Damn Unlucky"
hey, guys.
